hi...

I'm embarrassed. I know. I made a promise and I broke it. But really, it wasn't my fault. My darling little sister managed to almost single handedly use our internet usage in half the usual time. Mmm so apologies for my absence. That is if you're actually reading this. Sometimes I wonder..
So many things went on while I was gone. One most significant, is that my biggest sister officially became a doctor. YAY. Dr Penelope O'Sullivan. I'm so proud of her, and she works darn hard to say the least so she deserved honours and that's what she got! Also, I'm leaving for Bunbury in approximately 7 hours so, good luck getting a post while I'm down there. I will try. In the meantime one of the family photos from Penny's Dedication/Graduation/Congratulation thing...

(Madeline, Mamma, Penelope, Dadda, Gabriella, Moi)

..I'll be back to regular soon I promise.
Although, I have said that before...

some time ago...

A couple of months back now I did my beautiful best friend's hair and makeup for these football awards. No she doesn't play football, she was a date. The way we treated the evening was like the Brownlows, and let's be honest, she'd make a darn good wag. So I just thought I'd share the photos with you because she looks amaaaazing, and give you an idea of my makeup ability skill type thing (mind you, it's never hard to make a gorgeous face gorgeous.) Enjoy her high cheek bones, big eyes, and perfect jaw line...

And how amazing is this bettina liano dress. Makes you just want to twist around and see the ruffles swish. This is generally the kind of thing we bond over - makeup, clothes, and above all, food.
Oh btw, if you ever want to hire me as a makeup artist, feel free :)

Why did I never do this sooner...

:)

middle of the road...

This is what I wore today...

In an ideal world I would have worn a pair of black six inch stileto booties, but let's face it, Perth just isn't ready for that kind of drama today. If i wasn't going to college perhaps I would have tried. But for now running outside with a pair of heels in my hand to catch the sunlight and take pretty photos for my blog is good enough. I'm sure we'll make it to that day soon when we loose the mentality that high heels are for night time or office jobs. Maybe I should be an advocate. Anyway, the weather was pretty drab today and it literally rained non stop for a good few hours. But when I got home I ran inside grabbed my camera and pulled my sister out the door. Honestly, how delectable is this lighting...

Wearing: Viktoria Woods cardigan, Muui fringe top, Nudie jeans, necklace from Periscope (twas a gift), and Mimco bag

P.S. The shoes pictured in the first and last photos are the RMK sandals that I bought the other day with Rach - they're already wearing out..
P.P.S. Thanks to Bella for lending me the top. ily :)

flying scotsman...

So approximately 100 years ago I went to the vintage markets in Leederville at the flying scotsman with Bella. I found this amazing black 80's party dress, so here it is:

And paired with my knee high stockings are a wonderfully tall pair of Senso Diffusion heels
I'm not sure what great event I will wear this to, but it was fun enough just posing for the photos. And you should see it when you spin around :) So until next time friends. Ciao.

what do I do..

So I'm thinking I need to somehow extend this blogging thing. Take it to another forum of some sort. I see people talk about twitter and chictopia and lookbook etc, but I'm frankly a little hesitant. Just because the whole idea is a little intimidating, and it seems like a lot more work to have to update 5 personal internet spaces rather than just the one. However, something needs to be done. So as you are the people who read this blog I need suggestions. What should I do??

A visual to stimulate your mind - I love her...

36 degrees..

I'm not sure why the weather gets this hot in spring. Darno I'm slightly dreading summer to arrive. 36 degrees C is certainly hot enough for me. So in keeping with college dress code, today I wore a maxi dress. Something you will rarely find me in, but it seemed appropriate and it's actually kind of beautiful...

Wearing: Lilya dress and Teresa Ruiz belt
and yes, if you haven't already noticed - I'm that white..

greenhouse...

This weekend my friends and I went to breakfast at Greenhouse restaurant in the city on St Georges Terrace. The setting was amazing, and let's be honest, I felt like a little indie girl sitting on the raw looking wooden chairs, eating organic products, and taking condiments out of tiny square jars. I did like my breakfast, although the crust of the bread was practically a rock and I seriously struggled to the point where I just cut it all off and left it on the side of my plate - how childish of me, I know! Anyway, here are a few photos. I did slightly battle with the exposure in a few of them resulting in a really slow shutter speed and therefore blurry photos - it happens...

We decided to leave once we saw people beginning to order for lunch. So Rachel and I tried to go op shopping - only semi successful, and a lot more expensive than desired. And I found some lovely leopard sandals by RMK. Sure to be seen soon. Here is an awkward and rather failing attempt at taking photos in the mirror amongst bustling David Jones shoppers.

Got home only to leave immediately and take my little sister to find some sort of present/costume for her friends Alice in Wonderland party. We thought perhaps white queen as I had already made a dress for that, but unfortunately she's almost indigenous so the whole 'white' part didn't really work. We settled at the rabbit and after a large debate over having a nose and whiskers I finally convinced her. Let's be honest - she looks nothing like the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, but she looks darn cute.

another post brewing soon. See, I'm getting good at this thing :)
